In 1979 I was about 15 years old and my family decided to take a trip to Disney Land. I told my parents I just wanted to hit some skateparks in California. So I was able to visit Marina Del Ray Skatepark at that time. I remember it was really hot (for a visitor from the Northwest) and there were a lot of good skaters everywhere, which was intimidating to say the least. Well, this page is dedicated to that old park, and a few pictures of me there. This bowl that I'm skating was called the upper Key hole bowl. It was a favorite of many.
