This was the site as I approached the park on Opening day. October 5th 2002. They wouldn't let me park in the parking lot, due to the large crowds. So I had to park and walk (ride).

I actually got some runs in, and a photo to prove it. Here I am. Notice the background, everyone is ready to snake you for the next ride. It was intense.

The Mt. Baldy Replica ride. Big vert walls next to the pipe, just like at the Baldy Pipeline. I was stoked, I was able to frontside grind the higher side by the end of my day there. No photos of that though, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

On August 14th 2003 I took a motor home, and 6 other guys to Upland. Not quite as busy as opening day, and notice, there's more stickers in the pipe. Steve's getting a frontside air in the bowl. He liked Upland!
