I use a vacuum bag press to glue each layer. I tried to press all 8 laminates at one time. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough, and the glue started to dry in some areas before everything was bonded together. So it delamed pretty quickly (Click photo for larger image).

I used a printed photo and a hot iron to "iron on" this image to the back of my deck. It seemed to work ok. (Click photo for larger image).
Final shaping, the deck is 39 inches long, and I wanted it to be stiff and responsive, so I used 8 layers (Click photo for larger image).
